Butter Pecan Sticky Buns  with a Cranberry Compote

Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

Sticky Buns

  • 1 pkg. 12 sweet rolls
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Cranberry Compote

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp. corn starch
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 cups frozen cranberries
  • 1/4 cup water
  • dash salt

  2. 1/4 cup butter
  3. 1/3 cup heavy cream
  4. 1/2 cup brown sugar
  5. 1 tsp. cinnamon
  6. 3 tbsp. maple syrup
  7. 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Cranberry Compote

  1. In a small saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
  2. Stir in the cranberries, lemon juice, and water.
  3. Stir gently over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
  4. Drizzle cranberry compote over sticky buns and serve warm.
